‘Fauzi’: Prabhas New Film First Poster Breaks the Internet on His Birthday

The Rebel Star marks his special day with the title and first-look poster reveal for a new period action-drama, ‘The bravest tale of a soldier.’

October 23, 2025: Superstar Prabhas treated his massive fanbase to an exciting birthday surprise on Thursday, officially announcing his new film titled ‘Fauzi’ in collaboration with acclaimed director Hanu Raghavapudi.

The makers released an intriguing title poster for the film, which is billed as “The bravest tale of a soldier from the hidden chapters of our history.” Hanu Raghavapudi, known for the critically acclaimed romantic drama Sita Ramam, also shared his enthusiasm for the project on X (formerly Twitter).

Director Raghavapudi echoed the sentiment, stating, “Taking pride in presenting you as #FAUZI, this journey so far has been unforgettable and only promises to get bigger from here!”

Set against a historical backdrop, the film is expected to be a pan-India action-drama that will showcase Prabhas in a powerful, soldier-centric role.

Earlier in the day, the Baahubali star received a heartfelt birthday message from his sister, Pragathi, who took to Instagram to call him their “built-in protector and life long guide.”

He is next slated to be seen in the horror-comedy ‘The Raja Saab’, which features a stellar ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani, Zarina Wahab, Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar, and is set for a theatrical release on January 9, 2026.

Prabhas also has the highly anticipated cop actioner ‘Spirit’ in his pipeline, which will be helmed by director Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
