November 7, 2024: Sivakarthikeyan’s latest release, Amaran, an emotional drama that has struck a chord with audiences globally, is on the brink of crossing Rs 170 crore in worldwide collections. With a powerful narrative and strong performances, the film has captivated viewers and received acclaim from fans and industry peers alike, including actor Silambarasan, who lauded the film’s compelling storyline and high production values.
According to Sacnilk, Amaran has amassed Rs 168 crore worldwide, with Rs 109.25 crore net and Rs 117.7 crore gross from India alone. The film has seen notable success internationally as well, with an overseas collection of Rs 50.3 crore.

In Tamil Nadu, Amaran has been a massive hit, collecting Rs 88.82 crore to date, including Rs 5.37 crore on day 7. Other regions have seen varied responses; while Kannada markets contributed Rs 26 lakh and Kerala Rs 4 lakh, the film saw limited success in Hindi-speaking regions, bringing in Rs 25 lakh in 6 days. In Telugu markets, Amaran collected Rs 19.88 crore, with an additional Rs 1.63 crore on day 7.
The film’s success has been amplified by praise from celebrities. Silambarasan recently called Amaran “fantastic,” applauding Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi for their exceptional performances, and commending director Rajkumar KP for his skillful adaptation of a real-life incident. With top-tier production from RKFI, powerful visuals, and GV Prakash’s moving score, Amaran continues to prove itself as a cinematic triumph.
