Final Destination: Bloodlines Box Office Day 2: Horror Sequel Looks Impressive After Collecting This Much
May 17, 2025: Final Destination: Bloodlines, the sixth film in the cult horror franchise, saw only a marginal rise in collections on Day 2, falling just short of the ₹10 crore mark at the Indian box office. After earning ₹4.5 crore on its opening Thursday, the film added ₹5.3 crore on Friday, taking its total India net to ₹9.8 crore.

The English version continues to drive performance in urban multiplexes, while the Hindi version has shown moderate traction. Southern markets, however, witnessed a slight decline in viewership.
Directed by Adam Stein and Zach Lipovsky, Bloodlines taps into the nostalgia and suspense-driven legacy of the Final Destination franchise. The filmmakers emphasized the use of practical effects, including building and demolishing entire sets like a cabin and a restaurant, which added to the movie’s visceral thrill.
Despite its cult fan base and positive word-of-mouth, Final Destination: Bloodlines now faces stiff competition from Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, which releases today (May 17) in India—a week before its global premiere.
With the weekend expected to be decisive, Bloodlines must sustain its momentum to carve a place for itself amidst a growing slate of summer blockbusters.
