
‘Final Destination: Bloodlines’ Teaser Unveiled – A Grisly Return to the Horror Franchise
Washington [US], February 4: Horror fans, get ready—Warner Bros. Pictures has officially unveiled the teaser trailer for Final Destination: Bloodlines, the long-awaited sixth installment in the iconic Final Destination franchise.
The teaser gives a chilling preview of the film’s gruesome death sequences, including a shocking scene where a tattoo artist inks a tribute to his father on his arm before being gruesomely hung by his nose ring on a ceiling fan and set ablaze.
According to the official synopsis, Final Destination: Bloodlines takes audiences back to the very beginning of Death’s sinister design.
“Plagued by a violent recurring nightmare, college student Stefanie heads home to track down the one person who might be able to break the cycle and save her family from the grisly demise that inevitably awaits them all,” the logline teases.
This is the first Final Destination movie in over a decade, with Final Destination 5 last hitting theaters in August 2011. The original 2000 film, which starred Devon Sawa, Ali Larter, Seann William Scott, and Tony Todd, became a cult classic and spawned a franchise known for its elaborate, unexpected death traps.
Directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein, the film is penned by Jon Watts, Guy Busick, and Lori Evans Taylor. It is based on characters created by Jeffrey Reddick.
