
First Look of Prabhas in Kannappa Set for February 3 Reveal
Mumbai, January 27: Excitement is building among fans of Prabhas as the first look of the highly anticipated film Kannappa is set to be unveiled on February 3. The announcement came from the makers on their X handle, accompanied by a sneak peek of the Baahubali star, who plays an extended cameo in the devotional drama.
The teaser poster features Prabhas with an intense gaze, holding a trishul, hinting at his powerful role in the epic tale.
The makers captioned the post:
“Here’s a glimpse of the Darling-Rebel Star ‘Prabhas’ in #Kannappa! Experience the beginning of an epic journey, and don’t miss the full reveal on 3rd February. Stay tuned for more updates!”
Earlier this month, Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar also unveiled his look as Lord Shiva in the film. In a striking poster, Akshay is seen performing the Shiva Thandavam, holding a trishul and damru, adding to the film’s devotional aura.
Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, Kannappa is a mythological fantasy that brings to life the story of Kannappa, a revered devotee of Lord Shiva. The film aims to showcase the grandeur and devotion of ancient times.
The movie is slated for release on April 25, 2025, marking Akshay Kumar’s Telugu cinema debut.
Kannappa is produced by Vishnu Manchu’s AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory. The star-studded cast includes Vishnu Manchu in the lead role, along with Mohan Babu, R. Sarathkumar, Madhoo, Mukesh Rishi, Mohanlal, and Kajal Aggarwal.
