First Track ‘Birangay’ From ‘Azaad’ Out Now

December 13, 2024: On Thursday, debutants Rasha Thadani and Aaman Devgan launched their song ‘Birangay’ from their first Bollywood film ‘Azaad’ in Jaipur. The song, composed by Amit Trivedi and penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya, features vocals by Amit and Meenal Jain. The release of the track adds to the growing excitement around the film, set to hit theaters on January 17, 2025.

Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, ‘Azaad’ is a period drama set in pre-independence India, featuring Ajay Devgn in a pivotal role. The movie follows the story of a skilled horse rider, played by Ajay Devgn, who shares a deep bond with his horse. In a dramatic twist, Ajay’s character faces off against the English armies during the chaos, only for his beloved horse to go missing. The responsibility of finding the lost horse falls on Aaman Devgn’s character, who embarks on a perilous journey to reunite with the animal.

In a recent Instagram post, Ajay Devgn unveiled a new poster showcasing the character looks of both Rasha and Aaman. He captioned the post: “Iss kahaani ka dil ek yodha hai, aur dhadkan – #Azaad! Witness the adventure on big screens on 17th January 2025.”

Ajay, who has a significant role in the film, also praised his nephew Aaman Devgn for his dedication to the project. Ajay mentioned, “I have a significant role in his film as well. The trailer has been released, and people are liking it. Fingers crossed. He is a very hardworking boy.”

Rasha Thadani, daughter of actress Raveena Tandon, and Aaman Devgn, Ajay Devgn’s nephew, are both making their acting debuts in this film. The project is produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Pragya Kapoor, bringing together fresh talent with established industry stalwarts.
