“Five ke baad three tak aagaya, bahaut hai” – Ranvir Shorey

As Bigg Boss OTT Season 3 concluded, actor Ranvir Shorey, who finished as the second runner-up, shared his thoughts on the intense journey through the reality show. The season, hosted by Bollywood icon Anil Kapoor, saw TV actor Sana Makbul emerge as the winner, while rapper Naezy claimed the runner-up spot.

In an interview following his eviction, Shorey expressed his satisfaction with his performance. “Five ke baad three tak aagaya, bahaut hai,” he remarked, acknowledging his significant progress in the show.

Reflecting on the competition’s nature, Shorey commented, “The one who receives Bigg Boss’s favour and gets more votes wins–that’s how life is.” He discussed the challenges of participating in Bigg Boss OTT 3, highlighting the difficulty of staying away from family for 42 days and living with 15 strangers.

Despite the tough environment, Shorey cherished the valuable lessons and experiences he gained. “I’ve created memories that will stay with me forever. The difficulties inside the house make it a very tough experience,” he shared. He noted significant personal growth, adding, “I’ve learned a lot, gained experience, and created lasting memories.”

Throughout the season, Shorey formed strong connections with several housemates, including Armaan Malik, Deepak Chaurasia, and Kritika Malik. However, he also encountered conflicts with some contestants, such as Sana Makbul, Lavkesh, Vishal, and Shivani.

Expressing gratitude towards the audience for their support, Shorey emphasized, “Reaching the top 3 is entirely due to the audience’s support.” He acknowledged the importance of this support, especially given his absence from social media.

Looking ahead, Shorey reaffirmed his core ambitions beyond reality television. “My core ambition is not to win a reality show; it lies in filmmaking and acting. I am coming out after 42 days, I hope to face new challenges,” he said.

He also teased an upcoming project, a show titled ‘Shekhar Home,’ set to release on Jio Cinema with KK Menon in the lead role. ‘Shekhar Home’ is slated for release on August 14, 2024.
