The Downfall Begins

However, success was fleeting. By the early 1970s, Vimmi’s films started to underperform at the box office. Her stardom began fading, and she was soon reduced to minor cameo roles and uncredited dance performances.

Personal Turmoil and Exploitation

Her personal life began to unravel as well. Reports suggest that Vimmi faced domestic violence from her husband, leading to their separation. Post-divorce, she entered into a relationship with a small-time producer named Jolly, hoping for love and stability. Unfortunately, this relationship became another nightmare, as she was reportedly exploited and even forced into prostitution.
