New Delhi, April 11 – Actress Shanthi Priya, best known for starring alongside Akshay Kumar in his debut film Saugandh, has sparked conversation and admiration across social media after revealing her bald look in a powerful personal statement.

In a series of striking images shared on her Instagram, the South Indian actress is seen in a beige suit, accentuated by smoky eyes, gold earrings, and most notably, a blazer belonging to her late husband, actor Siddharth Ray, who passed away in 2004.

“With this transformation, I have set myself free—free from limitations and intending to break the beauty standards that the world has set upon us. I do it with courage and faith in my heart,” she wrote in the caption.

“Today, I also carry the memory of my late husband close, in his blazer that still holds his warmth.”

While many fans praised her bold transformation, others questioned her choice, especially in the context of South Indian beauty traditions.

“I asked myself, am I going to let fear dictate my choices?”
