December 15, 2024: Anees Bazmee, the celebrated film director and screenwriter, marked 45 glorious years in the Hindi film industry with a star-studded event in Mumbai on Saturday night. The gathering, which turned into a grand celebration of his cinematic journey, saw a stunning turnout of Bollywood stars, filmmakers, and industry veterans, all coming together to honor Bazmee’s invaluable contributions to Indian cinema.
Among the prominent attendees were Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Kartik Aaryan, Anupam Kher, Jackie Shroff, Govinda, Sushmita Sen, and many others. The evening was a tribute to Bazmee’s work, which includes iconic films like ‘No Entry’, ‘Welcome’, ‘Singh is Kinng’, and more.
Madhuri Dixit looked resplendent in a black dress, adding elegance to the event, while Anil Kapoor turned heads in a sharp black ensemble, staying true to his dapper style.
Kartik Aaryan, who has recently been in the spotlight for his performance in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’, appeared as suave as ever in a green shirt, blue jeans, and a stylish jacket. His bearded look added an extra touch of charm to his appearance.
A heartwarming moment came when Govinda and Sushmita Sen, who were last seen together in the hit 2001 comedy ‘Kyonki Main Jhooth Nahi Bolta’, posed together with big smiles, reflecting their fond memories from the film.
Bazmee, who is currently enjoying the success of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’, shared a special connection with the attendees, particularly with Kartik Aaryan and Madhuri Dixit Nene, both of whom star in the latest installment. The film, which released on Diwali 2023, has seen great box-office success despite facing a clash with Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Again’. It is the third film in the popular ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ franchise, following the success of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ (2007) and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ (2022).
‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ continues the spooky-comedy legacy with Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Triptii Dimri, and Rajpal Yadav among the leading cast. The film, with its intriguing plot and the director’s signature humor, has captivated audiences nationwide.
In celebration of his monumental career, Bazmee’s 45-year milestone was not just about honoring a director, but about celebrating a legacy that has brought countless laughs, thrills, and unforgettable moments to Indian cinema. With a career spanning decades, Bazmee continues to be one of the most cherished filmmakers in Bollywood.
