From Leonardo DiCaprio To Katy Perry, Hollywood Celebrity Homes At Risk Amid Tsunami Warning In The US

July 30, 2025: The National Tsunami Warning Center has issued a major tsunami warning for sections of the Aleutian Islands and the US West Coast, including California, Oregon, and Washington. Oregon and a lot of the West Coast, including British Columbia, Washington, and California, are all under a tsunami advisory. This warning comes after a huge 8.8-magnitude earthquake hit the Kamchatka Peninsula in Russia’s Far East and Japan on Wednesday, July 30, 2025.

The hazard is especially serious because many famous people’s mansions in California are in weak coastal areas, and Hollywood lost a lot of property during the Palisades Fires earlier this year.

Several well-known celebrity homes are said to be in danger:

Katy Perry‘s big house in Montecito is in a dangerous area. Actor Chris Pratt and his family are presently renting it.

Leonardo DiCaprio owns a beach house in Malibu, which is on the Pacific Coast Highway.

Jennifer Aniston: The “FRIENDS” star owns a home on the beach in Montecito, which is noted for its views of the water and mountains.

Sandra Bullock has two beach residences in the Malibu Cove Colony, one of which is right on the beach.

Robert Downey Jr. lives in a modern luxury property in the Santa Monica Canyon region. It has glass walls and views of the Pacific Ocean.

Oprah Winfrey: Her many properties are on Maui, Hawaii, but the island also had to deal with tsunami warnings. People have said that Oprah should have opened a private route during the tsunami evacuation, but she didn’t.
