From Shah Rukh Khan To Rajinikanth, Bollywood Celebs Grace WAVES 2025 Summit, See Pictures!

May 1, 2025: Bollywood’s biggest names descended on Mumbai for the inaugural edition of the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES) 2025, held at the prestigious Jio World Convention Centre (JWCC). The four-day event, which is set to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, brings together over 90 countries and thousands of creators, media professionals, and industry leaders.

Among the star-studded arrivals were Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan, who was seen engaging with organisers and staff members as he made his way into the venue.

Also spotted were megastar Chiranjeevi, Aamir Khan, and superstar Rajinikanth, each making their way through the bustling venue.

The power couple, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, made a fashionable appearance together, further adding to the star power of the event. Along with them, a slew of other Bollywood celebrities, including Akshay Kumar, Anil Kapoor, and Deepika Padukone, were seen attending the event.

WAVES 2025, which aims to leverage India’s rich spiritual legacy and creator economy for global harmony, is the first-of-its-kind summit in India. The summit’s tagline, “Connecting Creators, Connecting Countries,” promises a unique platform for over 10,000 delegates, 1,000 creators, and hundreds of companies and startups. The event will feature 42 plenary sessions, 39 breakout sessions, and 32 masterclasses, covering sectors such as broadcasting, films, infotainment, AVGC-XR, and digital media.

For the first time, the summit will host the Global Media Dialogue (GMD), with participation from 25 countries and featuring the WAVES Bazaar, a global e-marketplace designed to connect buyers and sellers locally and globally.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit the Creatosphere, where he will interact with creators from India’s “Create in India” challenges and visit the Bharat Pavilion. With its pioneering approach, WAVES 2025 is setting the stage for an exciting new era in the global entertainment and media industry.
