‘Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie’ Set to Charm Big Screens in September 2025
Washington DC [US], May 9: Beloved children’s series Gabby’s Dollhouse is making its leap from streaming to cinemas. DreamWorks Animation has officially unveiled the first trailer for Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie, which is set to hit theatres on September 26, 2025, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
Laila Lockhart Kraner returns to voice Gabby, the adventurous and imaginative girl at the heart of the story. In her big-screen debut, Gabby teams up with her stylish and spirited Grandma Gigi, voiced by Grammy-winning artist Gloria Estefan, for a high-stakes road trip.
Their mission? To retrieve Gabby’s magical dollhouse, which has been swiped by the eccentric and cat-obsessed Vera, voiced by Kristen Wiig. In the trailer, Vera dramatically declares, “This dollhouse will complete my cat collection,” setting the tone for a whimsical and heartfelt adventure.
Directed by Ryan Crego, and written by Crego alongside Melanie Wilson LaBracio and Adam Wilson, the film brings back all the fan-favorite Gabby Cats and vibrant characters from the Netflix series.
Produced by Steven Schweickart with executive producers Jennifer Twomey and Traci Paige Johnson—who also co-created the original series—Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie promises to be a celebration of creativity, curiosity, and connection for young audiences and their families.
