Game Changer Box Office: Ram Charan's Film Crosses ₹158 Crores Worldwide in Six Days
January 17, 2025: The much-anticipated Ram Charan starrer Game Changer has surpassed expectations during its six-day run, grossing ₹158 crore worldwide. The film has collected ₹132 crore at the Indian box office, supported by the festive Sankranti holidays, and added approximately ₹26 crore internationally.
In the Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Game Changer grossed ₹82 crore in six days, showing strong recovery post-weekend due to holiday boosts. The Nizam area led with ₹29.50 crore, followed by Andhra at ₹39.50 crore, and ₹13.50 crore from the Ceded region.
Despite decent performance in Telugu regions, the film underwhelmed in Tamil Nadu with just ₹8 crore in total collections. Given director Shankar’s legendary status in the Tamil film industry, the film’s lukewarm reception is seen as a significant disappointment.
Similarly, the Hindi dubbed version saw initial interest over the weekend but suffered sharp declines on weekdays, pointing to limited audience traction.
India Total: ₹132.00 crore
The film added ₹26 crore globally, contributing to its worldwide gross of ₹158 crore.
While the Sankranti window has bolstered its earnings, Game Changer has a long way to go to cement itself as a commercial success, particularly with its underperformance in key territories outside Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
