Ram Charan and Kiara Advani’s much-awaited political drama, ‘Game Changer,’ has stormed the box office, amassing over ₹100 crore within its first five days of release across all languages in India. Despite a dip in collections post-opening day, the film is showing signs of recovery, captivating audiences nationwide.
The first Tuesday’s earnings included ₹6.3 crore from the Telugu version, ₹0.95 crore from Tamil, and ₹2.94 crore from Hindi. This brings the total domestic collections to an impressive ₹106.34 crore.

While the movie has garnered significant attention, it also faced criticism over allegations of inflated box office figures. Producers claimed worldwide collections of ₹186 crore on opening day, but earlier estimates pegged this number closer to ₹80.1 crore. This discrepancy led to backlash and online debates.
Directed by Shankar and featuring an ensemble cast, including Ram Charan, Kiara Advani, Anjali, SJ Suryah, and Srikanth, ‘Game Changer’ has received mixed-to-positive reviews. Critics praised its ambitious narrative that explores corruption within the Indian political system, though they noted a reliance on familiar storytelling tropes.
ETimes rated the movie 3/5, commending Shankar’s grand visual storytelling and the film's social commentary, but pointed out moments where the plot felt predictable.
‘Game Changer’ marks a stellar beginning for Indian cinema in 2025. With its strong star power, lavish production, and social themes, the film continues to draw audiences. As collections stabilize, it remains to be seen how far this political drama can go in its box office journey.
