Gamerlog: Darsheel Safary Levels Up in Gritty Esports Drama
June 10, 2025: Actor Darsheel Safary is all set to make a powerful comeback in the upcoming comedy-drama Gamerlog, which dives deep into the intense world of Indian esports. Directed by debutant Arya Deo and produced by Abhinay Deo and Neeta Shah, the series drops on Amazon MX Player on June 12.
The newly released trailer introduces us to Raghu, aka Maverick — a quiet, small-town boy with a fierce gaming talent and big dreams. Defying his parents’ expectations, Raghu runs away to Mumbai to chase his passion. There, he joins a chaotic yet promising team called “Team Gamerlog”, led by the strong-willed Joanna and supported by quirky players Lalit, Jaggi, Saurabh, and Mahesh.

Set against the backdrop of India’s booming esports scene, Gamerlog is more than just a gaming story. It’s a thrilling ride filled with friendship, rivalry, love, betrayal, and raw ambition, culminating in the ultimate face-off at “The Tournament of Champions” — the biggest esports event in the country.
Joining Safary in key roles are Anjali Sivaraman, Chinmay Chandraunshuh, Kunal Bhan, Chetan Dhawan, Shubroy Chowdhury, and Akash Menon.
Reflecting on his role, Darsheel said, “Though it’s built around gaming, Gamerlog is about the emotional journeys young people go through. It’s fun, relatable, and something families can enjoy too.”
Producer Abhinay Deo added, “We were drawn to the layered, emotional world hidden within gaming. This series is a mix of energy and emotion — highlighting loyalty, pressure, and courage — and Arya has brought it to life brilliantly.”
Gamerlog streams for free on Amazon MX Player starting June 12.
