Actor Shares Personal Story in Debut Podcast Episode of MaaaNoranjan

June 1, 2025 : Actress and Bigg Boss 7 winner Gauahar Khan has made an emotional debut with her new YouTube podcast MaaaNoranjan, where she opened up about motherhood, miscarriage, and the realities of C-section deliveries. The first episode saw her candidly discussing her own pregnancy journey, while also responding strongly to recent remarks made by actor Suniel Shetty about caesarean births.

In a tearful moment on the podcast, Gauahar revealed she suffered a miscarriage before the birth of her son Zehaan.

“There’s one thing I never told everyone. I did have a miscarriage before Zehaan. I lost the baby after almost nine weeks. That loss was extremely difficult,” Gauahar shared.

She added that she underwent a C-section delivery for her first child and plans to share more about the experience in upcoming podcast episodes.

Gauahar Slams Suniel Shetty’s “Comfort of C-Section” Remark

The actor also addressed Suniel Shetty’s controversial comment praising his daughter Athiya Shetty for opting for a natural birth over a caesarean.

“How could you say that?” Gauahar questioned emotionally.
“There are so many myths around this topic—that C-sections are the easier option. How can there be so much misinformation? For a male celebrity, who didn’t go through pregnancy or childbirth, to say this—it’s really disappointing.”

What Did Suniel Shetty Say About C-Section Births?

In an earlier interview with News18, Suniel Shetty had said:

“In a world where everybody wants the comfort of having a caesarean baby, Athiya chose not to do that and had a natural delivery… It’s unbelievable how she went through the whole process.”

His remarks faced backlash for implying that C-sections are a “comfortable” or “easy” choice. Suniel later clarified, stating his words were “blown out of proportion”.

Gauahar and Zaid Expecting Second Baby

Gauahar Khan and her husband Zaid Darbar welcomed their first child, Zehaan, in 2023. The couple recently announced they are expecting their second child, sharing the news via a heartfelt Instagram video captioned:

“Bismillah!! Need your prayers and love. Make the world dance by spreading love. #GazaBaby2”
