On Thursday, actor Genelia Deshmukh wrote her mother Jeanette D’Souza a heartfelt birthday message.
Genelia posted a sweet family photo to Instagram that included her, her mother, and her sons Rahyl and Riaan. The message read, “When I was a little girl, all I wanted to grow up to be was MY Mum – her grace, her ability to be a homemaker and yet a professional, her immense sensitivity, her strength to conquer every obstacle that came her way, the joy she brought to everyone around her and her child-like persona that made people smile whenever they were in her company.”
She went on, “I don’t think I could ever measure up to my mother, but I do know that being her daughter is the greatest honour I have ever known.Mom, happy birthday! You are everything to me. I couldn’t last a day without you. The date of Genelia and Riteish Deshmukh’s wedding was February 3, 2012. Their first son, Riaan, was born in November 2014, and their second son, Rahyl, was born in June 2016.
With the recent release of “Ved,” which her husband Riteish Deshmukh directed, Genelia made her Marathi debut. It’s Genelia’s first time working in Marathi.
In addition, Genelia is getting ready to make a big acting comeback in a Telugu movie. Kireeti, the son of popular industrialist Gali Janardhan Reddy, a former minister of Karnataka, is the main actor in the untitled movie. The film is a bilingual Telugu-Kannada production, directed by Radha Krishna.
