Get Ready for a High-Octane Clash: ‘Double iSmart’ Trailer Unveiled

The much-anticipated trailer for ‘Double iSmart,’ starring Ram Pothineni and Sanjay Dutt, has been released.

The trailer teases a gripping clash between Sanjay Dutt’s character, Big Bull, and Ram Pothineni’s Shankar, alongside showcasing the romantic chemistry between Pothineni and Kavya Thapar. Viewers can expect a mix of intense action sequences, dance, romance, and music.

Ram Pothineni shared the trailer on X, expressing his excitement with the caption, “Mamaaaaaa! #DoubleiSmartTrailer aaagayyaaaa!..-Ustaad #DoubleiSmart Shankar.”

In addition to the trailer, the filmmakers recently released the second single, “Maar Muntha Chod Chintha.” This energetic dance number features both Ram Pothineni and Kavya Thapar showing off impressive dance moves. Sung by Nakash Aziz and Bhoomi Trivedi, with lyrics by Raqueeb Alam and music by Mani Sharma, the song has already garnered attention.

Earlier teasers showcased Ram Pothineni reprising his role as Shankar, engaging in his usual antics before confronting Sanjay Dutt’s Big Bull, marking the Bollywood star’s debut in Telugu cinema. The teaser hinted at an intense showdown, highlighted by a dramatic fight sequence near a Shiva linga.

‘Double iSmart,’ a sequel to the 2019 hit ‘iSmart Shankar,’ is produced by Charmme Kaur and Puri Jagannadh, with cinematography by Sam K Naidu and Gianni Gianneli. Mani Sharma returns as the music composer for the film. The movie is set for a multi-language release on August 15, available in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.

The original ‘iSmart Shankar’ achieved significant box office success despite mixed reviews. Fans are eager to see how the sequel addresses the unresolved storylines, particularly following the tragic end of Nabha Natesh’s character and the uncertain fate of Nidhhi Agerwal’s character.
