Gia Manek on her OTT debut ‘Kaam Chalu Hai’

Actor Gia Manek, renowned for her role as Gopi Bahu in ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya’, is set to make her OTT debut in the film ‘Kaam Chalu Hai’, featuring alongside Rajpal Yadav.

‘Kaam Chalu Hai’, produced by Baseline Ventures and Pal Music and Films, is a gripping drama that highlights the dire consequences of road accidents due to poorly maintained roads filled with deadly potholes. The narrative is inspired by the true story of Manoj Patil, a devoted father who, devastated by his daughter Gudiya’s death in a tragic accident caused by a pothole, transforms his grief into a crusade to prevent similar fatalities. The film follows Manoj as he navigates the loss of his daughter, who was poised to become a cricketer before her untimely death, and channels his anguish into a revolutionary campaign to save others.

The film is scheduled for release on ZEE5 on April 19.
