Los Angeles, March 12: Supermodel Gigi Hadid is sharing rare insights into her relationship with Hollywood star Bradley Cooper, calling their romance “very romantic and happy.” In her Vogue April cover story, published on Tuesday, Hadid reflected on their year-long relationship, revealing how they met and how Cooper has influenced her personal and creative life.

“I Respect Him So Much as a Creative”

Hadid and Cooper first crossed paths at a backyard birthday party for their mutual friend’s child, and their connection has only grown stronger since then. The 28-year-old model spoke about how Cooper has been a source of encouragement in her life.

“I respect him so much as a creative,” Hadid said. “He gives me so much—encouragement and belief. When people you admire push you to be better, it creates confidence. Like, what’s the worst that could happen if I auditioned for something? You jump and take the leap.”

Hadid also credited Cooper, who has a background in theater, with reintroducing her to Broadway and stage performances.

“Bradley has opened me up to going to the theater more, and that’s something that’s so nice to bring back into my life,” she shared.

“I Just Feel Really Lucky”

For Hadid, timing has played a key role in this relationship. She admitted that understanding what she wants and deserves in a partner has been crucial in finding happiness.

“I think getting to the point where you know what you want and deserve in a relationship is essential,” she explained. “I’ve found someone who is in a place in their life where they know what they want and deserve … and we both do work separately to come together and be the best partner we can be. I just feel really lucky. Yeah, lucky’s the word.”

Hadid and Cooper have both been in the spotlight for their previous high-profile relationships. Hadid shares a young daughter with ex-partner Zayn Malik, while Cooper has a daughter with his former partner, Irina Shayk. “We’re very romantic and happy,” Hadid shared, adding that she isn’t bothered by media speculation. “Sources will say things that are kind of right and kind of wrong … you just have to let it go; you can’t always correct everything.”
