June 11, 2025: Model Gigi Paris is finally opening up about her breakup with Glen Powell, and let’s just say—she’s not holding back. Appearing on the Too Much podcast (June 10 episode), Gigi spilled all the behind-the-scenes tea about what really went down during Glen’s alleged romantic entanglement with Anyone But You co-star Sydney Sweeney.
For context, Glen and Gigi were in a relationship for nearly three years, while Sydney was engaged to Jonathan Davino. But while Glen and Sydney’s sizzling on-screen chemistry was lighting up both set and social media, Gigi was left out in the cold—with no public denial from Glen to calm the rumors.
“All he had to say was, ‘I would never cheat on my girlfriend.’ That’s it. Just that. And that never came,” Gigi said on the podcast, revealing the emotional void that marked the final days of their relationship.
Adding insult to injury? Gigi says the rumored romance may have just been a PR stunt. “Later on, it turned out that it was all, I don’t know if there was a relationship there or not, but then they came out to say it was a PR scheme—at the expense of our relationship. Like, it was just crazy.”
In a moment that felt more sad than bitter, Gigi admitted she even hoped Glen and Sydney would fall in love, if only to give the heartbreak some meaning:
“At least it would make it worth it for me, you know?”
But things took a sharp turn when Gigi flew to Australia—partly for work, partly to see Glen, who was filming there. Instead of being welcomed, she was effectively banned from the set.
“There was a rule—I was not allowed near set. I was not allowed anywhere near production. It was very bizarre.”
The final nail in the coffin? A phone call from Glen. Gigi says he called to ask her not to visit the set at all, and that’s when she realized it was over.

“I had lost whoever that person was that I loved.”

“I went anyway, just to look him in the eye and break up with him… it was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do.”
