SRK appeared at the fashion world’s most prestigious event in an elegant black custom ensemble by Sabyasachi Mukherjee, paired with layered necklaces and a distinctive cane featuring a tiger head — embodying both royalty and restraint. The designer confirmed to Vogue that the look was crafted to highlight Khan’s signature elegance, adding that the actor’s brief was simple: “Just black or white, nothing else.”

Speaking to Vogue on the red carpet, both Shah Rukh and Sabyasachi shared insights about the ensemble, while the designer told international hosts that SRK’s presence outside their hotel nearly caused a stampede, such is the magnetism of India’s biggest star.

Khan also revealed that he felt nervous ahead of the event but chose to attend for his children, showing once again how he blends stardom with family values.
SRK’s signature pose on the red carpet was met with cheers and awe, as he bridged cultures with effortless charisma.
About the Met Gala 2025 Theme:
This year’s theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” celebrates Black fashion across centuries — from 18th-century refinement to contemporary style icons — inspired by Monica L. Miller’s 2009 book Slaves to Fashion. Curated by Andrew Bolton, the exhibition highlights fashion as a vessel of cultural identity and resistance.
