Global Pop Icon Enrique Iglesias Is Coming Back to India After Over a Decade, Deets Inside!

May 14, 2025: After more than a decade, global pop sensation Enrique Iglesias is all set to make his much-awaited return to India. The multi-award-winning singer, who last performed in the country in 2012, will headline a live concert in Mumbai this October, marking his first India appearance in 13 years.

A source close to the development revealed, “Enrique will perform in Mumbai in October. An event company based in Gujarat is bringing him back. This marks Enrique’s return to India after 13 years.” His last India tour in 2012 covered Pune, Gurugram, and Bengaluru, drawing thousands of fans across cities.

The excitement surrounding his comeback began last year after his performance at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai sparked curiosity among Indian fans. Known for chartbusters like Hero, Bailamos, Tonight, and I Like It, Iglesias has a strong fanbase in India and has previously called the country “one of my favourite places in the world.”

In a viral Instagram throwback shared in 2019, Enrique shared a moment from his earlier India visit where a fan chased his car just to get a glimpse of him. The video showed the fan excitedly shouting, “Are you Enrique?” and later telling him, “You’re a rockstar. We love you a lot in India.” Enrique captioned the post, “One of my favourite places in the world! I love you #India… can’t wait to be back!!

Now, with the tour finally happening, fans are ecstatic to welcome the 50-year-old star back to the stage. His return also adds to the growing list of global artists who have recently toured India, including Coldplay, Bryan Adams, Maroon 5, Alan Walker, Dua Lipa, and Tiësto. With Guns N’ Roses and Travis Scott also lined up for Indian performances, 2025 is shaping up to be a historic year for international music fans in the country.

While more details about ticketing and venue are awaited, one thing is certain: Mumbai is in for a night to remember this October.
