
‘Good Bad Ugly’ Roars Past ₹150 Crore Globally in 4 Days, Becomes Highest-Grossing Tamil Film of 2025
April 14, 2025: Ajith Kumar’s latest action-packed outing Good Bad Ugly has delivered a blockbuster opening at the box office, becoming the highest-grossing Tamil film of 2025 so far. The Adhik Ravichandran directorial crossed the ₹150 crore global mark in just four days, raking in ₹152 crore worldwide by Sunday.
The film debuted with a strong ₹51 crore on Day 1 globally, followed by ₹27.5 crore on Friday, ₹36.5 crore on Saturday, and another ₹37 crore on Sunday.

In India alone, the movie minted ₹84.5 crore over the extended opening weekend:
On Sunday, Good Bad Ugly saw an overall Tamil show occupancy of 69.13%, peaking during evening shows at 76.79%. Morning and night slots also stayed strong, indicating solid audience retention.
The film is expected to benefit from the Ambedkar Jayanti holiday on Monday, likely pushing it past the ₹100 crore India mark soon.
Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Good Bad Ugly features Ajith as a retired gangster forced to return to protect his family. The film also stars Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Das, Priya Prakash Varrier, Sunil, and Tinnu Anand, and released alongside Sunny Deol’s Jaat on April 10.
