Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Rakul Preet Singh Star in This Romantic Comedy
Mumbai, February 6: The iconic song “Gori Hain Kalaiyan”, originally featuring Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Prada, has been recreated for the upcoming Bollywood film ‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’, starring Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Rakul Preet Singh.
The revamped track has been given a modern twist by rapper Badshah, along with Kanika Kapoor, Sharvi Yadav, and IP Singh.
Star-Studded Cast and Direction
Apart from the lead trio, the film also features Dino Morea, Harsh Gujral, and Shakti Kapoor in pivotal roles. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, known for ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ and ‘Khel Khel Mein’, the film promises to be a lighthearted entertainer.
Director’s Vision for the Film
Mudassar Aziz shared his excitement about the project, stating that the film celebrates the quirks and complexities of romantic relationships.
“As a filmmaker, I’ve always believed in telling stories that entertain and leave audiences of all ages smiling. ‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’ is a film that brings friends and families together, makes them laugh, and gives them something to talk about.”
