November 14, 2025: Veteran Bollywood actor Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, has released a health update to quell the concerns of millions of fans, confirming that the “Partner” star is doing well after being rushed to the hospital earlier this week.
Speaking during a recent YouTube vlog, Sunita Ahuja clarified that the incident was a result of excessive physical training and not an underlying health issue.
Sunita Ahuja: “Govinda is completely fit. He was working out really hard to prepare for his new film Duniyadaari when he fainted. He suffered fatigue due to over-exercising. However, he’s doing well now. No need to worry.”
Emergency Admission and Recovery
The health scare began when Govinda reportedly lost consciousness at his Mumbai residence. His friend and legal advisor, Lalit Bindal, confirmed that while the actor initially received medication after a phone consultation, his condition necessitated a trip to the hospital around 1:00 am for emergency care.
The actor was discharged shortly after and later interacted with the media, where he, too, admitted to pushing his body beyond its capacity during training. Looking visibly well in a smart blazer and turtleneck, Govinda used the platform to advocate for healthier practices.
Govinda: “Please do Yoga and Pranayam. Yoga and Pranayam are very good. The kind of problems I have faced, it is very good that I am doing Yoga and Pranayam.”
