While reports suggest that the two have been living apart for some time, an old interview of Sunita Ahuja’s views on extra-marital affairs has now resurfaced, sparking fresh discussions.

Sunita Ahuja’s Take on Infidelity
In an earlier conversation with Hauterrfly, Sunita candidly shared her thoughts on extra-marital affairs, urging women to be cautious about their partners.
“I request all the women out there never to say, ‘Mera boyfriend yaa mera kuch karta nahi (He doesn’t do anything).’ Because when he does, he will mess up so badly that it will take years to clean up the mess. You might exit from his life, but the other woman will never leave.”
This statement has gained traction amid speculation about Govinda and Sunita’s marital discord.
What Sparked the Divorce Speculations?
Over the past few days, several reports have suggested that all is not well between the couple. Sunita’s recent interviews further fueled rumors when she expressed dissatisfaction with Govinda’s lack of romantic gestures.
In a Hindi Rush interview, she jokingly said:
“I have told him that in my next life, he should not be my husband. He doesn’t go on holidays. I am someone who wants to go out with my husband and eat pani-puri on the streets. I don’t recall a single instance when we both went out to watch a movie.”
Reports also indicate that Sunita had allegedly sent a separation notice a few months ago, but there has been no official confirmation or legal movement since then.
Govinda & Sunita’s Journey Together
Govinda and Sunita tied the knot in March 1987, but kept their marriage a secret until after the birth of their daughter Tina Ahuja in 1988. The couple later welcomed their son Yashvardhan in 1997.
