June 10, 2025: Get ready for more awkward family dinners and laugh-out-loud chaos—Meet the Parents 4 is officially happening, and pop superstar Ariana Grande is joining the dysfunctional Focker family!

Set for a November 25, 2026 release, the fourth installment of the beloved comedy franchise brings back the original stars Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller, alongside Blythe Danner and Teri Polo. The twist this time? Grande steps into the mix, reportedly playing the fiancée of Greg and Pam’s grown-up son.

Ben Stiller recently teased Grande’s role on the Today show, saying, “She’s going to be really, really funny and kind of the whole engine of the new movie.” With her sharp timing and recent Oscar-nominated performance in Wicked: Part One, she’s set to add a fresh spark to the series.
Directed by John Hamburg, who co-wrote the earlier films, the movie continues the legacy of the franchise that started in 2000 with Meet the Parents. The original film, followed by Meet the Fockers (2004) and Little Fockers (2010), has collectively earned over $1.13 billion worldwide.
While the plot for the fourth film remains under wraps, De Niro has confirmed reading a “pretty good” script. And with old rivalries, generational quirks, and a new wedding on the horizon, fans can expect more hilariously uncomfortable moments.
For now, you can catch up on all the mayhem—Meet the Parents, Meet the Fockers, and Little Fockers are currently streaming on Hulu.
