
Halle Berry and Glenn Close Join Ryan Murphy's New Legal Series 'All's Fair'
Actors Halle Berry and Glenn Close have joined the ensemble cast of ‘All’s Fair,’ a new legal series from Ryan Murphy and Kim Kardashian, according to Deadline.
Written by Jon Robin Baitz, known for his work on Murphy’s Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans and Brothers & Sisters, the series features Berry and Close alongside Kardashian, who collaborates in an all-female law office. Details about Berry and Close’s roles have not been disclosed yet.
‘All’s Fair’ marks the first series for Murphy under his new deal with Disney, with 20th Television, a part of Disney TV Studios, producing in association with Ryan Murphy Television.
The executive producers for the series include Jon Robin Baitz, Joe Baken, Jamie Pachino, Laura Greene, Richard Levine, Ryan Murphy, Kim Kardashian, Halle Berry (alongside her producing partner Holly Jeter through their company HalleHolly), and Glenn Close through her Trillium Productions banner. Additional executive producers are Kris Jenner, Alexis Martin Woodall, Eric Kovtun, and Scott Robertson. Murphy is also set to direct.
Halle Berry, an Academy Award-winning actor, made history with her Oscar-winning performance in ‘Monster’s Ball’ (2001) as the first and only African American woman to receive the Best Actress accolade. She also won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie for her portrayal in HBO’s ‘Introducing Dorothy Dandridge’ (2000). Berry will be seen opposite Mark Wahlberg in Netflix’s action thriller ‘The Union,’ releasing on August 16th. She is represented by WME, Johnson Shapiro Slewett & Kole, and Range Media Partners.
Glenn Close made her feature film debut in George Roy Hill’s ‘The World According to Garp’ and is an eight-time Academy Award nominee. Her notable roles include performances in ‘The Big Chill,’ ‘The Natural,’ ‘Fatal Attraction,’ ‘Dangerous Liaisons,’ ‘Albert Nobbs,’ ‘The Wife,’ and ‘Hillbilly Elegy.’
