Haneef Adeni To Direct High-Octane Action Film For Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions

February 27, 2025: Director Haneef Adeni, who recently gained recognition for his successful Malayalam film Marco, is set to direct a high-octane action movie for Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. This upcoming film, currently untitled, will be a multilingual project, primarily made in Hindi, and promises to deliver a thrilling cinematic experience.

Film critic Taran Adarsh took to X to announce the exciting development, describing the film as a “high-impact action spectacle.” Adeni’s expertise in crafting engaging narratives, as demonstrated by Marco, will certainly elevate the action genre in Bollywood. Dharma Productions, known for its large-scale productions, will likely bring the full force of its creative resources to this project.

Meanwhile, Karan Johar is staying busy with multiple ventures. Johar is set to introduce Ibrahim Ali Khan, son of Bollywood stars Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, in the upcoming Netflix romantic film Nadaaniyan. Alongside Ibrahim, Nadaaniyan features a talented ensemble cast, including Khushi Kapoor, Suniel Shetty, Dia Mirza, Mahima Chaudhary, and Jugal Hansraj. Directed by Shauna Gautam, this film promises to be an exciting addition to Netflix’s diverse range of content.

Karan Johar is also collaborating with actor Kartik Aaryan for a romantic comedy titled Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri. Directed by Sameer Vidwans, the movie is set to hit theatres globally in 2026, further expanding Johar’s dynamic portfolio in the Bollywood film industry.
