In the teaser, Adam Sandler reprises his role as Happy Gilmore, the unlikely golf sensation who first made waves in the sport after transitioning from ice hockey. In the clip, Gilmore says, “I haven’t swung a club in years,” but he’s ready to return and take on some of the top stars in the world of golf. Virginia Venit, played by Julie Bowen, who was Gilmore’s love interest in the first movie, urges him, “We’re not done with golf. Let them see the Happy I fell in love with.”

The sequel promises plenty of star-studded cameos, including Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, musician Bad Bunny, rapper Eminem, and Ben Stiller, who may reprise his role as the quirky “Hal” from the original film. Chad Mumm, the founder of Pro Shop Studios, explained that the team worked closely with professional golfers to ensure the sport’s portrayal was genuine and to secure cameos from real-life players.
