The priest’s explanation confirms that the ceremony was a Mangalwar puja (Tuesday prayer) for general health, peace, and prosperity, and was not an official engagement ritual, cooling down the rampant speculation—at least temporarily.

The Lingering Engagement Mystery

Despite the clarification regarding the puja, the large ring on Mahieka’s finger remains a focal point of online curiosity. Neither Hardik nor Mahieka has publicly commented on the engagement rumors, allowing the speculation to continue among fans eager for official confirmation.
