February 27, 2025: The highly anticipated crime thriller Havoc, starring Tom Hardy, is set to premiere on Netflix on April 25. Directed by Gareth Evans, known for The Raid series, Havoc follows Hardy as Walker, a detective with a troubled past. The film takes viewers on a high-stakes journey as Walker embarks on a dangerous mission to locate the estranged son of a politician. After a drug deal goes wrong, Walker finds himself caught in a world of crime and corruption, facing threats from dangerous criminals and powerful figures.
A 47-second teaser dropped on Wednesday evening, offering a glimpse into the gritty world of Havoc. In the trailer, Walker’s tense confrontation with a character played by Forest Whitaker stands out. Whitaker warns, “And don’t forget, I know what you did,” to which Hardy’s character, unfazed, retorts, “You have no idea what I did.”
The film also stars Timothy Olyphant, Justin Cornwell, Jessie Mei Li, and Luis Guzman, with the story written and directed by Evans. The gripping crime drama showcases Hardy as a bruised detective fighting through a criminal underworld that threatens to consume his entire city.
Fans of Tom Hardy, who recently starred in The Bikeriders and Venom: The Last Dance, can look forward to an intense performance in Havoc.
