The singer-actor laughs off claims, says ‘Mere naam pe TRP le rahi ho’
February 25, 2025: Bollywood music sensation and actor Himesh Reshammiya was recently put in the spotlight, but not for his music or films. Instead, his wife Sonia Kapoor hilariously exposed his obsession with getting ready during the launch episode of her podcast, The Sonia Kapoor Show.
Himesh’s ‘Bathroom Mirror’ Habit Exposed
During the chat, Sonia couldn’t resist poking fun at Himesh’s habit of spending hours in front of the mirror. She playfully asked,
“What is your favorite thing about yourself? Apart from the fact that you spend four hours looking at yourself in the bathroom?”

A visibly surprised Himesh responded,
“What are you saying? Tumhe apne show ki TRP leni hai toh tum mere naam pe le rahi ho.”
Sonia, however, doubled down on her statement, laughing,
“I am talking facts. You are like this. If you have a 9 AM flight, you wake up at 3 AM just to get ready. Who does that?”
Himesh defended himself, claiming he prefers taking his time to avoid feeling rushed. But Sonia wasn’t having it, adding,
“Yeah, so that you can look at yourself in the mirror for two hours.”
The fun banter continued, with Himesh playfully rolling his eyes while Sonia mock-apologized for “exposing” him on air.

Himesh Reshammiya and Sonia Kapoor tied the knot in 2018, following his separation from his first wife, Komal. The couple shares a strong bond, evident in their lighthearted teasing.
On the professional front, Himesh was last seen in the action-musical film Badass Ravi Kumar, which released on February 7, 2025. The film has managed to collect ₹8.38 crore in two weeks.
