September 17, 2025: The trailer for Neeraj Ghaywan’s highly anticipated flick Homebound was officially unveiled on Wednesday morning. Indian viewers saw this moving drama for the first time. The movie has already received a lot of awards at international film festivals. Ishaan Khatter, Vishal Jethwa, and Janhvi Kapoor all play crucial roles.

Mohammad Shoaib (Ishaan Khatter) and Chandan Kumar (Vishal Jethwa) are two friends in rural India who are getting set to take the police recruitment exams. Shoaib battles against religious prejudice, while Chandan fights against casteism as a Dalit. They want to wear a uniform because they want to earn the respect that society has always denied them. Janhvi Kapoor plays a friend in the movie who is also having her own troubles.
