
Hospital Confirms Salim Khan On Ventilator
Veteran writer admitted to ICU at Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital
February 18, 2026: Veteran screenwriter Salim Khan was rushed to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on February 17 following a health scare. He was brought to the hospital around 8:30 am by the family doctor, Dr Sandeep Chopra. Soon after his admission, family members, including actors Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan, arrived at the hospital to be by his side.
Earlier, Lilavati Hospital had confirmed that Salim Khan was admitted and later shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The hospital, however, did not disclose specific details about his medical condition, leading to concern among fans and well-wishers.
In its latest clarification, the hospital stated that Salim Khan has not undergone any surgery. He remains under close medical supervision and is currently on ventilator support. Further updates on his condition are awaited.
