Host Nikki Glaser Roasts Leonardo DiCaprio For Dating Younger Women, Actor Reacts

The legendary actor was the target of the night’s sharpest monologue as host Nikki Glaser mocked his preference for younger women; DiCaprio took the jokes in stride with a thumbs-up and a grin.

No one is safe when Nikki Glaser has the microphone. At the 83rd Golden Globe Awards held on Sunday, January 11, 2026, the comedian delivered a biting roast of Leonardo DiCaprio, targeting his well-documented dating history and a nearly 35-year-old teen magazine interview.

DiCaprio, currently dating 27-year-old Italian model Vittoria Ceretti, sat in the front row as Glaser launched her monologue. “The most impressive thing is that you were able to accomplish all of that—an Oscar, three Globes—before your girlfriend turned 30,” Glaser joked, to an eruption of laughter from the audience.

The “Teen Beat” Deep Dive

Glaser didn’t stop at his love life. She pivoted to a deep-cut piece of trivia that left the actor visibly amused.

  • The “Search”: Glaser claimed the most in-depth interview she could find of DiCaprio was from a 1991 issue of Teen Beat.
  • The Question: “Is your favorite food still ‘pasta, pasta, and more pasta’?” she asked, referencing a quote from his heartthrob days.
  • The Reaction: Seated at a star-studded table, DiCaprio laughed, gave a cheerful thumbs-up, and mouthed “Yes!” to the camera, much to the delight of the crowd.

Box Office King, But No Globe Tonight

While DiCaprio was a sport about the jokes, the night was bittersweet on the awards front. Nominated for his role in Paul Thomas Anderson’s 1970s epic One Battle After Another, DiCaprio was considered a frontrunner in the Best Actor (Musical or Comedy) category.

Timothée Chalamet, who beat out both DiCaprio and George Clooney, used his acceptance speech to pay tribute to the veteran actors, calling his win over his “idols” a “surreal, full-circle moment.”

Inside ‘One Battle After Another’

Despite DiCaprio’s individual loss, the film itself emerged as one of the night’s biggest winners.

  • The Accolades: It secured the top prize for Best Motion Picture (Musical or Comedy) and earned Paul Thomas Anderson the trophy for Best Director.
  • The Plot: DiCaprio stars as Bob Ferguson, a hard-drinking, charismatic political fixer in 1970s California, a performance critics have hailed as his most “unhinged and electric” since The Wolf of Wall Street.
