Housefull 5 Day 1 Advance Booking: Promising Start With Over 68,000 Tickets Sold Worth This Much
June 4, 2025 | The highly anticipated comedy sequel Housefull 5 is off to a strong start at the Indian box office. According to early data, the film’s day 1 advance booking grossed ₹2.07 crore (excluding block seats) and ₹5.62 crore (including block seats), indicating solid audience interest ahead of its theatrical release.
Starring Akshay Kumar, the film is directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced under the Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment banner. The franchise returns with high expectations, and the current booking numbers reflect strong momentum, particularly in major urban centers.
Maharashtra alone contributed over ₹56 lakh without block seats and more than ₹1.4 crore when including blocked inventory, showcasing high interest in metro cities like Mumbai and Pune.
Cities like Amritsar, Durgapur, Chennai, Pune, and Indore showed “Almost Full” or “Filling Fast” statuses in several shows, hinting at localized surges in ticket demand.
Despite low-to-moderate real occupancy (mostly below 5% across regions), the sheer number of shows and brand value of the franchise have contributed to strong grossing figures.
Housefull 5 continues the zany, multi-star comedy saga and is one of the most awaited commercial entertainers this year. The combination of high advance bookings, mass appeal, and star-driven marketing is expected to propel the film to a strong box office opening.
