Housefull 5 with Akshay Kumar is Postponed Until 2025. Why?

The fifth installment of “Housefull,” starring Akshay Kumar and Sajid Nadiadwala, is expected to delight moviegoers once more. The official announcement released by Nadiadwala states that the movie will open in theaters on June 6, 2025. The legendary screenwriter and producer released an official statement saying  “The Houseful franchise owes its massive success to the audiences, and we hope for a similar reception for Houseful 5. The team has crafted an absolutely mind-blowing story that demands top-notch VFX. Therefore, we’ve made the decision to push the release to ensure we deliver five times the entertainment with great cinematic experience. Housefull 5 will now be releasing on 6th June 2025.”

Five times the fun is on the way! Sajid Nadiadwala published the official statement on X, which Akshay Kumar posted with the comment, ” I’ll see you on June 6, 2025, in theaters.” Sajid Nadiadwala’s production company, Nadiadwala and Grandsons, previously issued an official statement in the midst of rumors concerning the cast of “Housefull 5,” taking to X. The statement said, “There are many rumors doing rounds about the star cast in ‘Housefull 5’, we kindly request media houses to please refrain from making any premature announcements at this stage.” Akshay revealed the fifth installment of his popular comedy series “Housefull” in June of this year.

Akshay posted a poster of “Housefull 5” to Instagram with the remark, “Get ready for FIVE times the madness!” Presenting #SajidNadiadwala’s #Housefull5 to all of you By @tarun_mansukhani, director. “See you on Diwali in 2024 at the movies!” The first-ever franchise film with five installments in Indian cinema history is “Housefull 5.” The first installment of “Housefull,” which starring Boman Irani, Arjun Rampal, Deepika Padukone, Riteish, Akshay, and Lara Dutta, was released in 2010. Following the success of the first movie, ‘Housefull 2’ became a hit as well. Starring with John Abraham, Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Asin, Mithun Chakraborty, and Shreyas Talpade was Jacqueline Fernandez. Sajid Khan was the director of both portions.

In the third installment of the movie, Sajid was replaced by Farhad and Sajid Samji, who are the directors. 2016 saw the release of the movie. The fourth installment of the series was a reincarnation comedy film, directed by Farhad Samji. Tarun Mansukhani will direct the fifth installment. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala is behind it.
