How Ashish Chanchlani Lost 40 Kg Without Giving Up His Favourite Gulab Jamun

July 12, 2025: Popular YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani, known for his comedy sketches and millions of fans, has taken the internet by storm — not with his punchlines this time, but with his dramatic weight loss transformation. Shedding around 40 kilograms in just six months, Chanchlani’s fitness journey is as inspiring as it is relatable.

The Turning Point

In a candid interview, Ashish revealed that he decided to take control of his health when he saw his reflection at 130 kg and felt deeply disappointed. “I was going through some personal problems… I felt like a loser. I promised myself to enter my 30s healthier,” he said.

Chanchlani’s Balanced and Realistic Diet Plan

Ashish followed a high-protein, fibre-rich diet while limiting carbs and emphasizing healthy fats. Here’s a glimpse of his daily eating pattern:

  • Breakfast: 6 boiled eggs or omelette + sprouts
  • Lunch: 1 roti + 200g chicken + cucumber & celery juice
  • Evening: Whey protein shake
  • Dinner: Protein-rich chicken (no carbs)

He maintained a calorie deficit, meticulously tracking his meals. “After three months, I could just look at my plate and know if I was eating too much,” he explained.

Yes, There Were Cheat Days!

Unlike many rigid diet plans, Ashish allowed himself weekly cheat treats, especially sweets. “I love sweets, and I’d indulge once a week with gulab jamuns or rasmalai. I’d adjust my other meals to stay within calorie limits,” he shared.

He emphasized the importance of mental balance: “People think sugar is the villain. It’s not. Overeating is. Cheat days helped me stay sane.”

The Message: Fitness is Possible Without Sacrifice

Ashish’s journey shows that weight loss doesn’t have to mean deprivation. “Stop thinking you have to give up everything. Enjoy in moderation and stay consistent,” he advised.

As he enters a new chapter of life, Ashish Chanchlani not only looks transformed but feels it too — both physically and mentally. His message? Discipline, not punishment, is the key to fitness.
