Reports say that Salman Khan would host the first 15 weeks. He is said to be asking between ₹120 and ₹150 crore for the whole thing, or ₹8 to ₹10 crore every weekend. This is a big pay decrease from the ₹250 crore he was supposed to get for Bigg Boss 18 and the ₹200 crore he was supposed to get for Bigg Boss 17. In the last two months of the extended season, other well-known people like Farah Khan, Karan Johar, and Anil Kapoor may take over as hosts.

Bigg Boss will use a digital-first approach for the first time. New episodes will be available on the OTT platform JioCinema before they air on Colors TV.

The Bigg Boss 19 house is said to have a “Rewind” theme this year, which means that iconic features will be brought back.
