August 11, 2025: The highly anticipated action thriller War 2 is creating a massive buzz, not just for its high-octane action, but for the on-screen chemistry that appears to have blossomed off-screen as well. At a recent pre-release event in Hyderabad, superstars Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR appeared together for the first time, in a moment of unadulterated bromance that is now dominating social media.

The two actors, who will be seen as deadly agents on opposite sides of a conflict, were twinning in matching black hoodies. Videos from the event show Hrithik expressing his profound respect for Jr NTR, saying, “Tarak and I started as co-stars and we ended up like brothers in real life. I want you to promise me that you will love my brother, the same way, forever.”

In a heartfelt response, Jr NTR thanked Hrithik for his warmth. He candidly revealed his initial doubts as a South Indian actor about his acceptance in the Hindi film industry, a fear that was quickly dispelled by Hrithik’s welcoming embrace on the first day of shooting. “Thank you so much sir for accepting me with wide arms, open arms and giving me that hug, that beautiful hug you’ve given me on the first day,” Tarak said. “I will never forget those moments with you for War 2.”
