Hrithik Roshan Faces Backlash After Refusing Photos With Fans Who Paid Rs 1.2 Lakh

April 8, 2025: Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan recently faced backlash after fans reported a disappointing experience at a meet-and-greet event in Dallas, Texas. While Hrithik did interact with some of the gathered fans, one Reddit user shared a post that quickly gained traction, claiming that the actor refused to take pictures with several fans, despite them paying a hefty amount for VIP treatment.

According to the fan’s post, attendees were charged $1500 for a VIP experience, in addition to purchasing general admission tickets. The fan expressed frustration, stating, “Spent $1500 + general admission tickets for each person to meet Hrithik Roshan and I didn’t even get a picture.” The post continued, “Refused to take pictures with half the meet-and-greet line and turned us away even though we spent so much money. We waited 2 hours in line just to get refused?? Not to mention, it was outside in such cold weather. He showed up for a 30-minute show. Waste of VIP!!! Oh, yes, they won’t even give us a refund!!”

While the event was organized to give fans a chance to meet Hrithik Roshan up close, the disappointed fan highlighted the unorganized nature of the event, mentioning that Hrithik appeared annoyed himself. The lack of refunds only added to the frustration of attendees, who had spent significant money for what was supposed to be a special interaction with the star.

Meanwhile, on a different note, Hrithik Roshan recently reflected on his 25-year-long journey in the film industry, speaking fondly about his career and his desire to work with internationally renowned director Christopher Nolan. Hrithik expressed his admiration for Nolan, calling him one of his “favourite directors,” and shared his hope of collaborating with the director one day.

On the work front, Hrithik Roshan is gearing up to make his directorial debut with Krrish 4, a film that fans are eagerly awaiting. His father, veteran filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, confirmed the news earlier this year. Additionally, Hrithik will appear in War 2, part of the Yash Raj Films’ spy universe, alongside Jr NTR and Kiara Advani. The film is set to release on August 14 this year, and fans are excited to see Hrithik in another action-packed role.
