"I Don't Believe In Marriage": Trisha Krishnan Breaks Silence Amid Dating Rumours With Thalapathy Vijay

As speculation continues to swirl around her rumored relationship with Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay, actress Trisha Krishnan has made headlines with her candid statement on marriage. While promoting her upcoming film Thug Life at a recent press event alongside Kamal Haasan and Silambarasan TR, Trisha was asked about her personal life and future plans.

In a straightforward response that’s sparking conversation online, the actress said,
“I don’t believe in marriage. It’s okay if it happens, okay if it doesn’t too.”
Her remarks come amid growing media buzz about her alleged relationship with Thalapathy Vijay, with whom she shares a longstanding on-screen and reportedly off-screen bond. While neither actor has confirmed nor denied the rumours, their frequent public appearances together have kept fans speculating.
The two stars first appeared together in the blockbuster Ghilli (2004) and have since co-starred in several hits, including Thirupaachi, Aathi, Kuruvi, and most recently, Leo. Their onscreen pairing has been one of Kollywood’s most celebrated, adding fuel to the off-screen dating rumours.
During the same event, veteran actor Kamal Haasan also shared a humorous anecdote when asked about his own marital history.
“Someone once asked me how I got married twice despite being from a good Brahmin family and a Rama devotee. I replied—I don’t pray to any god, and maybe I follow Rama’s father Dasharatha, who had three wives.”
Trisha is gearing up for the June 5 release of Thug Life, directed by Mani Ratnam, where she stars alongside Kamal Haasan. She is also set to appear in Vishwambhara, a major project featuring Chiranjeevi.
