“I Love All People”: Kanye West Issues Apology, Declares End to Antisemitic Remarks

May 23, 2025: Kanye West, the Grammy-winning rapper and fashion mogul, has taken to social media to declare he is “done with antisemitism” following months of intense backlash over a series of highly controversial remarks and actions.

In a series of posts shared on X (formerly Twitter), Kanye wrote, “I am done with antisemitism. I love all people. God forgive me for the pain I’ve caused. I forgive those who have caused me pain. Thank you God.” He concluded the posts with a call for peace: “Share peace. Share love.”

According to West, the turning point came after a FaceTime call with his four children — North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm — whom he shares with ex-wife Kim Kardashian. “I simply got a FaceTime from my kids and I wanna save the world again,” he wrote.

The posts mark another apparent shift in Kanye’s public stance. In February, he stated, “I’ve come to the realization that I’m not a Nazi,” after previously making inflammatory pro-Hitler remarks and referencing Nazi symbols in his fashion line. Earlier this year, however, West released a song titled Heil Hitler, which included deeply controversial lyrics that blamed Kardashian for his mental state, saying: “So I became a Nazi, yeah b****. I’m the villain.”

In past posts, Kanye attempted to defend his behavior by claiming his comments were “Jew proof,” arguing that he was no longer “under Jewish control,” while simultaneously stating that he still works with and respects many Jewish individuals.

Despite this latest apology, many remain skeptical. The timing of his statement — coming after sharp public criticism and media commentary, including a pointed jab from Adam Sandler on Saturday Night Live — has raised questions about its sincerity. Sandler, whose family is Jewish, alluded to West in a song during SNL’s 50th-anniversary tribute: “50 years of finding out your favorite musician’s antisemitic.”

West responded by thanking Sandler, adding, “Thank you for the love.”

West’s comments and actions have led to severed business ties in the past, including his collaborations with Adidas and Balenciaga, and widespread condemnation from both fans and fellow celebrities.

Whether this marks a genuine change in attitude or another temporary shift remains to be seen, but for now, Kanye West is publicly asking for forgiveness — and peace.
