IIFA 2024 : Samantha Prabhu Honored As 'Woman of the Year'
At IIFA Utsavam 2024, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was honored with the prestigious ‘Woman of the Year in Indian Cinema’ award.
The event, held on Friday in Abu Dhabi, brought together top stars from South Indian and Bollywood cinema under one roof. A video shared on IIFA Utsavam’s official Instagram showcased the celebratory moment when Samantha accepted the award from Vicky Kaushal, underlining her immense success and popularity within the industry.
For the occasion, Samantha stunned in a glamorous green shimmery dress, setting a high fashion standard for the night.
The three-day IIFA celebration kicked off with IIFA Utsavam, focusing on the southern film industries—Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. On the second day, Bollywood stars such as Shah Rukh Khan, Vicky Kaushal, and Karan Johar will host the IIFA Awards night, with performances from Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Ananya Panday, Janhvi Kapoor, and Vicky. Rekha will also make a long-awaited return to the IIFA stage.
The event will conclude on September 29 with IIFA Rocks, an exclusive invitation-only show featuring live performances from artists like Honey Singh, Shilpa Rao, and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
