“I’m Beyond Excited to join forces …”: Akshay Kumar Collaborates With Priyadarshan For Horror-Comedy ‘Bhooth Bangla’

Akshay Kumar’s 57th birthday brought exciting news for Bollywood fans as he announced his upcoming film Bhooth Bangla, a horror-comedy directed by Priyadarshan.

This marks the highly anticipated reunion between Akshay and Priyadarshan after 14 years. The duo has previously delivered hits like Hera Pheri, Garam Masala, Bhagam Bhag, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa, making this project particularly special for their fans.

The announcement, shared on Instagram, included a first-look motion poster where Akshay is seen humorously drinking milk with a black cat perched on his shoulder, setting the tone for the spooky yet comedic theme of the movie. Fans expressed excitement in the comments, celebrating the return of this beloved actor-director collaboration. Bhooth Bangla is set for a 2025 release, with Ektaa R Kapoor producing under the Balaji Telefilms banner.

In addition to this project, Akshay is staying busy with a variety of films. He recently made a cameo in Stree 2 and appeared in Khel Khel Mein, a comedy-drama directed by Mudassar Aziz, where he stars alongside Ammy Virk, Vaani Kapoor, and others. Looking ahead, Akshay will also feature in Singham Again, a highly anticipated cop drama by Rohit Shetty, slated for a Diwali release. The film’s star-studded cast includes Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and Kareena Kapoor, adding to the excitement surrounding his future projects.
