Imran Khan Reveals Self-Designed Nature Retreat

Actor Imran Khan recently gave fans a sneak peek of his self-designed home nestled in nature. On Instagram, Imran shared a series of pictures showcasing the house at various construction stages. He detailed his journey of designing the house, from choosing the unique site to overseeing construction.

Imran wrote, “One of the things I did over the past few years was to build a house. While I’ve played an architect in films, I don’t have any formal training. I picked a site flanked by streams, against a cliff, facing the sunset. The house takes cues from the landscape, intended as a shelter to admire the view.”

He described spending a year observing the site to incorporate its natural elements into his design. Opting for traditional construction methods, he used stone, brick, steel, and insulated roofing sheets. “It took a while, and it’s a bit uneven around the edges, but it was a joyous process,” he shared.

Imran is also set to return to Bollywood after a nine-year hiatus, last seen in ‘Katti Batti’ (2015) with Kangana Ranaut.
