
Imran Khan Steps Out With GF Lekha Washington At Sitaare Zameen Par Premiere
June 20, 2025: Imran Khan, the reclusive actor and nephew of Aamir Khan, made a rare public appearance last night as he arrived for the special screening of his uncle’s latest film Sitaare Zameen Par. Accompanied by his girlfriend Lekha Washington, Imran turned heads on the red carpet with his stylish yet understated look.
The couple, who usually stay away from the limelight, looked elegant and perfectly in sync. Imran sported a black t-shirt layered with an olive green jacket and dark blue jeans, while Lekha stunned in a chic green printed dress. The duo patiently posed for the paparazzi, with Imran even encouraging Lekha to join him for more photos when he noticed the media’s enthusiasm.
The screening saw a star-studded turnout with big names like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Rekha, Juhi Chawla, Vicky Kaushal, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Riteish Deshmukh in attendance. Imran also came out to support his Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na co-star Genelia Deshmukh, who plays a pivotal role in the film.
Sitaare Zameen Par, directed by R.S. Prasanna and produced under the Aamir Khan Productions banner, features Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh in lead roles. The film showcases the journey of 10 specially-abled children who form a football team under the guidance of a tough but compassionate coach played by Aamir.
With music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya, the film hit theatres across India today, June 20, 2025.
